Clinical Mental Health Counseling Track

The clinical mental health counseling track provides broad counseling preparation in areas such as neurological bases of disorders, addictions, marriage and family, child/adolescence, and individuals in crisis. Students completing this track are prepared and qualified to begin the process of acquiring their License for Mental Health Counseling (LMHC). Students interested in pre-doctoral counseling preparation may substitute the thesis option for two of the internship experiences and pursue doctoral studies in counseling or clinical psychology.
