Get Involved

MU-COM offers many opportunities for medical students to become engaged with your faculty and peers inside and outside the classroom. We suggest you consider building leadership skills through participating in student and professional organizations, maintaining physical and mental wellness through recreation and intramural programs, supporting the community around you through service engagement opportunities, and broadening your intellectual scope by attending cultural, educational, and social events on campus.

Student Organizations

With over 30 student organizations, there are a variety of opportunities to get involved with volunteering, supporting the profession, promoting wellness in the campus and local communities, and much more. Our student club members attend national conferences, volunteer at a variety of events throughout the city and state, organize blood drives, visit local schools to promote wellness, and much more. If there’s not a club that fits your interest you can also work with the Office of Student Affairs to create a new student organization.

If you are interested in starting your own organization or to learn more about existing opportunities please contact Kaylee Hofmeister, Student Affairs Specialist, at khofmeister@marian.edu or at 317.955.6612 or by visiting Evans Center Suite 109.

Academic Support and Counseling Services

At Marian University we offer many academic support and counseling services to aid your educational journey. Academic support services include peer tutoring, peer mentoring, stress management and study habit workshops, and more. Mental health counseling is offered from a licensed psychologist. And we offer accommodation services for students with documented disabilities.

To request any of these academic support or counseling services, please contact Kaylee Hofmeister, Student Affairs Specialist, at khofmeister@marian.edu or at 317.955.6612 or by visiting Evans Center Suite 109.
