Join the Parent Engagement Committee.

Marian University's Parent Engagement Committee is an advocate and resource for parents and family members of current students. We are are available to answer your questions, listen to your ideas, and hear your suggestions.

Among the committee's responsibilities are helping to plan an annual Family Weekend, serving as volunteers for athletic, arts, and other events, and overseeing hospitality arrangements for parents attending family functions and campus events.

In addition, members of the committee:

  • Serve as parent hosts during move-in days when new students arrive on campus to move into their residence halls.
  • Help host student receptions, award ceremonies, and other events to which parents and families are invited.
  • Volunteer as members of parent panels during student orientation and at recruiting events, providing feedback and insight for other parents who are exploring if Marian University is the right choice for their students.
