Writing Workshops

Marian University Writing Center staff and faculty facilitate a number of workshops throughout the year. Our workshops focus on active learning approaches and incorporate (1) writing to learn and (2) writing to accomplish strategies. Workshops are open to students, staff, faculty, and central Indiana residents. Schedule changes are posted first to our Facebook page.

Currently scheduled workshops include Starting an Essay, APA Formatting, Chicago Formatting, Writing Effective Personal Statements, and AP Style.

To attend a workshop, please RSVP by emailing writingcenter@marian.edu

Once registered, confirmation and instructions for joining online workshops will be emailed to you.

Unless otherwise noted, all workshops take place in the Writing Center, which is located in the Mother Theresa Memorial Hackelmeier Memorial Library.
