Janice M. Smith’s path in healthcare formally started at The Ohio State University College of Nursing followed by nursing at OSU Hospitals.  From there the path continued to school nursing in Indiana, then to teaching for an LPN program, and, at last, to Marian University’s Health Science Labs as a certified healthcare simulation educator.  There were multiple other experiences sprinkled in between, such as working with geriatric patients to pregnant teens to special needs children, as she was rearing her own children.  She expresses a deep appreciation for exemplary healthcare based on the values that MU holds dear.  She considers it an honor to be a part of passing that along to our students.
