Biography

Angela Wagner, DOAngela Wagner, DO, joined Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM) full-time in July 2017 as Chair of Family Medicine and Assistant Professor of Family Medicine. She is a past member of the Board of Trustees at Marian University and has served on various committees throughout the university and the medical school. She is currently serving on both the admissions and curriculum committees at MU-COM. Dr. Wagner serves as a small group facilitator in the introduction to clinical medicine courses and is a lecturer and table trainer in the osteopathic principles and practice courses.

Dr. Wagner graduated from Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999 and completed a residency in Family Practice at Ingham Regional Medical Center in East Lansing, MI following a rotating internship at Westview Hospital in Indianapolis. Additionally, she completed a fellowship through the Costin Institute for Osteopathic Medical Educators at Midwestern University in 2013, as well as. A fellowship in medical ethics at Indiana University Charles Fairbanks Center for Medical Ethics in 2014. She is board Certified through the AOBFP in family practice and osteopathic manipulative treatment, and has a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Hospice and Palliative Medicine from the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. In fall of 2016 she completed a Masters of Arts in Health Professions Education at Michigan State University.

Dr. Wagner is Past President of the Indiana Osteopathic Association and is currently serving as an Indiana delegate to the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) House of Delegates. Additionally, she also currently serves as a delegate and alternate trustee for District 9 of the Indiana State Medical Association and as a member of  the Future Directions Task Force.
